In late April, 2017, the smart phone game creator althi Inc. (Main office: Fukuoka city, Fukuoka, Japan President: Yoshihiko Miyazaki), released an extensive update to the sandbox life simulation game “WorldNeverland – Elnea Kingdom” through the Apple App Store and Google Play.
“WorldNeverland – Elnea Kingdom” is a simulation game that allows the player to enjoy a free lifestyle in an elaborate sandbox kingdom. The large number of AI characters that are moving about the kingdom and to whom the player can communicate make the player feel just as if they were playing an online game.
Since its Japanese release in May, 2015, “WorldNeverland – Elnea Kingdom” has seen over 50 updates with improvements and content enhancements reflecting the requests of players. It has received high ratings in Japan and achieved 800,000 overall downloads.
“I want many people around the world to emigrate to our virtual kingdom and enjoy the experience of leading another life for the first time.” said Yoshihiko Miyazaki, althi CEO. “We’re aiming for 5000000 downloads in the US within the year.”
