Chiba Prefecture, the home of Narita International Airport, is conveniently located next to Tokyo. The Chiba Prefectural Tourism and Local Products Association invites you to join information sessions about three selected locations here in Chiba. Please see the information below for the dates and times, and send us an email at visit2020@chiba-tpa.or.jp to sign up by 17:00(JST) of the day before your desired date.

・Desired date and time: A, B and/or C
・The number of participants for each information session.
・Your name. If you are participating as a press team, please include the press team’s name and the name of each participant.

Get to know the locations:
Nagareyama City-
Nagareyama Honcho, the birthplace of shiro-mirin, flourished from the Edo period and throughout the Meiji and Taisho eras through its brewing industry and transportation via the Edogawa River. The area has many historical sites, shrines, and temples, and it is known for its history with the famous haiku poet Kobayashi Issa as well as its connection to the Shinsengumi.
Narita City-
Narita City is not only the home of Narita International Airport, it’s also where you can visit one of Japan’s most famous temples, the over 1000-year-old Naritasan Shinshoji Temple. Visitors can also enjoy a stroll around the gardens and ponds of the 165,000-square-meter park within the temple grounds. Omotesando, the main road to the temple, is lined with historic buildings, souvenir shops, and restaurants serving the city’s famous unagi (eel) dishes.
Kyonan Town-
The amazing views, historic sites, and easily accessible slopes of Kyonan’s Mt. Nokogiri make it one of the most beloved sightseeing spots in the Tokyo area. The mountain’s Nihonji Temple dates back 1,300 years, and is home to two massive Buddhist statues. Jigoku Nozoki (lit. ‘Peek into Hell’) is a rock outcropping which sticks straight out from a sheer cliff face and offers peerless views of the area’s natural beauty.
