KYOTO, Japan – March 14, 2019 – the Cross Hotel Kyoto of ORIX HOTELS & RESORTS announced today that the hotel will commence sales of two new gift products that will remind guests of their stay in Kyoto: the “ilā” bathroom amenities set, and a set of six varieties of flavored Uji green tea.
The Cross Hotel Kyoto opened in Kawaramachi Sanjo on September 25, 2018. Kawaramachi Sanjo is one of Kyoto City’s leading tourist areas, home to numerous historic buildings and fashionable restaurants. The hotel is situated approximately 15 minutes by car or bus from Kyoto Station, and is also within ten minutes’ walk of the Keihan Railway, Hankyu Railway, and Kyoto City Subway Tozai Lines. In spring, guests can enjoy views of the blooming cherry trees that line the Takase River, either from some of the hotel guest rooms or from the near the hotel.
The Hotel with its sophisticated and chic interior and exterior design, will now commence sales of two new carefully selected gift products, there has been considerable demand for them from guests. The first is a set of bathroom amenities produced by the British spa brand “ilā”; these are being used as guest room amenities in Japan for the first time. The second is the “Kabuku” set of six varieties of flavored Uji green tea, which is provided to guests staying in deluxe or better guest rooms.
Concierges with a comprehensive knowledge of both Kyoto and the Kansai region are always on hand at the hotel. They are able to facilitate visits to all manner of tourist destinations, and also provide information on ever-changing photogenic locations and vogue restaurants. In addition, the Restaurant & Bar KIHARU Brasserie, which is situated on the first floor of the hotel, now offers a selection of world-renowned Japanese whiskies. The Restaurant & Bar KIHARU Brasserie is situated on the first floor of the hotel. With a ceiling designed to resemble a Japanese umbrella and playful interior décor, it serves as a spacious leisure area for adults. In addition to standard cocktails, guests can taste a range of craft beers and rare Japanese whiskies, as they while away the hours in comfort.
