■About Book
Where does our sociality come from? What is it? Where is it taking us? This book explores its secrets in the tens of thousands of years of human evolution. The key to unlocking secrets lies in the achievements of primatology from Japan.

“Evolution of Human Sociality(Vol 1. Primatology as a Study of Society)” provides a comprehensive college-level introduction to the study of primatology.

Humanity, especially the social nature of the human race, is at stake. Do you think that way?

The family, which has long been the most basic component of society, is now in danger of collapse. Such changes were caused and accelerated by globalism and the communication revolution.

The “family” formed by our human ancestors comprised the dual structure of family groups of related individuals, and a community made up of multiple families. The dual structure of family and community has been maintained by the high degree of empathy developed by humans. However, the family is now in danger of collapse. What will the human family and society be like in the future? Let us consider this question by “Evolution of Human Sociality(Vol 2. The Past, Present, and Future of a Society with Empathy and Family)”.
