AeroEdge Co., Ltd. (Ashikaga City, Tochigi, Japan, President and CEO: Jun Morinishi) agreed to allocate shares to DMG MORI Co., Ltd. (Nagoya City, Aichi, Japan, President: Masahiko Mori) and raised 600 Million Yen of new capital on May 19th 2020. This capital increase through third-party allocation, with the previous round of capital increase completed in 2018, raised total amount of financial arrangements to about 2.8 Billion Yen.
AeroEdge strategically utilizes the fund to expand our future business by introducing the latest facilities and technologies. We aim to create and reinforce competitiveness in the whole value chain from machining technologies to quality management for one-stop solution so that we promptly answer to the world class customers’ needs.
With a strategic partnership with DMG MORI which has globally been establishing competitive position in world’s machine tool industry, AeroEdge will work with DMG MORI together more on state-of-the-art technologies such as additive manufacturing and the other innovative metal processes, targeting expected high tech industries including aerospace, automotive, and energy, by leveraging both companies’ infrastructures and know-how.
