What is TEXTILE TOKYO [OCTOBER]?
TEXTILE TOKYO [OCTOBER] is a trade show specialised in all kinds of textiles/fabrics and materials for fashion items.
11,000 kinds of textiles/fabrics and materials will gather under one roof!
The show is held inside FASHION WORLD TOKYO -FACTORY-, which consists of 2 specialised fairs as all about fashion manufacturing. Visitors can source not only new items for their lineups but also high functional materials to produce high-tech fashion.

Made-in-Japan Exhibits
One of the biggest highlights of the show is high-quality and unique textiles made in Japan. Why not visit Japan’s largest fashion trade show to find made-in- japan quality?
A lot of textiles/fabrics are gathered from many prefectures which are famous for the industry in Japan.
For example;
-“cotton” from the company standing in Okayama Pref. , where is famous for textiles especially for jeans.
-Cut and Sewn from Wakayama Pref.
-Indigo Dyed Clothing from Ryukyu
It must be the best place to source made in Japan exhibits which have traditional and innovative technologies.

New-in-Japan Textiles also gather!
Not only made-in-japan exhibits but also rare textiles/materials from around the world gather at the show.
For example, KOHINOOR MILLS is the Pakistan’s oldest textile company, manufacturing & exporting woven dyed fabrics to all round the world. From South Africa, DI QUEEN DESIGNS Corp. exhibits products used materials which are locally sourced.

High-functional Textiles/Materials
Third highlight of the show is that visitors can find a lots of high-functional textiles/materials.
There is also the chance to meet textiles made by the world’s first technique at the show.
Here are some excerpts from this edition.
1: YAGI & Co., Ltd. was established 125 years ago in Japan, exhibits world only one down sheet whose
uniqueness is Light, Thin and cuttable.
2: TFJ GLOBAL Inc. exhibits the textiles’ brand, “BLUELOGY ” offering water-repellency , which is called
“Water Glide Technology (WGT)”. WGT is a new technology which lets water drops glide on the surface
where this technology applied. It is a unique and proprietary technology which gives water repellency
to textile products with ultra-hydrophobic coatings on the yarns which consist the texture of the fabric.
3: THERMORE JAPAN is a pioneer of high-performance insulating materials, the cutting edge of insulation
technology. One of the highlight items is ECOdown Fiber. It is a free fiber contains 100% of recycled
durable fiber which is complete alternative of down products.
