September, 4th 2013 – Brendan is in shaky Japan at present awaiting a start to the Fujisankei Classic at the Fujizakura Country Club west of Tokyo and in the shadow of Mt Fuji.
An 6.5 earthquake struck off the coast of central and southern Japan this morning although Brendan was blissfully unaware as he played in the pro am prior to the event.
After missing the cut last week in Fukuoka Brendan is keen to play well this week before taking a brief break back home in Canberra and then beginning a relatively intense stretch of big events to bring the season to a close.
Mind you the season to date has been a stop start affair in terms of the Japan Tour schedule so Brendan is now looking forward to building continuity in his game as the season heats up.
Brendan has played this event on only a spasmodic basis in recent years and has a best of 15th.
