Program Now Open for “RubyWorld Conference 2013” Set for 11/21 (Thu.) – 22 (Fri.)

MATSUE, Japan, October 16, 2013  — The Executive Committee for the RubyWorld Conference has opened a program for the RubyWorld Conference 2013. At the Executive Committee’s invitation of speakers from around the world for the RubyWorld Conference 2013, 20 groups of people responded to the request. We have chosen 11 after impartial consideration by the Program Investigation Committee.

An award-giving ceremony for the “Ruby Prize Award 2013,” also known as the “Rookie of the Ruby,” will be held during the RubyWorld Conference 2013 on November 21 (Thursday) by the Ruby Association, Nihon-Ruby-no-Kai and Matsue city. This ceremony is to commend those who contributed to the spread of the Ruby in the last couple of years and participated in activities that led to the Ruby’s development.
